Can you ADD FRIENDS IN YIK YAK app?

hey so here is yik yak app which is going viral um but can you add friends here so no it's not possible to add friends because in this app there is no like identity is anonymous you leave your phone number when you create an account but your number and your name are not displayed anywhere so it's just like a list of anonymous comments as looks like this and you can't click anywhere and go to somewhere profile you can just upload or download or block or report so that's that and if you want to you can change your comment emoji but it's not possible to follow someone or friend or on friends or message someone so that's that
