Gas app - Sorry we only allow mobile phone numbers error

so here's gas app and when I try to create an account it shows me this error sorry we only allow mobile phone numbers um so I don't know what the issue is here actually because I'm entering my real phone number it's not it's a real mobile phone number but yeah that's what it is um at this moment so I don't know uh what's what can be there um so if you also experience that you should please leave some comments below super curious how to solve it uh for some reason I'm getting it yes the gas app is only available in United States for selected schools is not available like worldwide and it's not available for all schools so that's what it is
