How to delete finch account?

First of all, it is not possible to create an account in Finch Self Care widget.

You can use this app without an account.

So, you can't delete finch account in the app!

To delete finch account just uninstall the app from your phone

To delete finch account, you just need to uninstall finch app, as it says in their FAQ.

To protect user privacy, we only save your data on your device and not on our servers. Uninstalling the app will mean losing your data and we will not be able to recover it unfortunately.

How to reset finch app?

You can reset finch data just by uninstalling finch app from your phone.

How to restart finch app?

To restart all data in finch app, just remove app from your mobile device. This way all your data will be erased.

How to cancel finch subscription (finch plus)?

To cancel finch plus on iPhone, go to your Settings app, tap on iCloud, tap on Subscriptions, find finch self care subscription and cancel it.

How to backup finch data?

You can save and load local backup files from Settings. In the future we hope to make this process more automated and appreciate your patience in the meantime. Local backup files are required because Finch prioritises privacy and only saves your data to your device.

To transfer data to a new phone:

1. Home Screen > Settings in top left > Create Save File > choose a location to save the file.
2. Send your backup file to your new phone.
3. Install Finch on the new phone and go through initial hatching steps.
4. On your new phone, go to Settings > Load Save File > choose your backup file. Close the app and reopen and you should have your old data.
