How to delete characters in Character.ai app? Possible ways

Are you using the Character AI app and wondering how to delete characters? Unfortunately, there is no button or specific option to delete characters, but there are a few possible ways to at least start the process.

Here are some options:

1. Hide the character chat - If a character is annoying you, you can tap and hold on the chat and select "hide character." While this will hide the chat, the character will still appear in your public characters.
2. Change visibility to private - Navigate to any character and change its visibility to private. This will make it only available to you and not appearing everywhere. However, there is still no button to delete it from anywhere.
3. Remove your account - If you want to completely start from scratch and be safe, you can remove your account. Tap on "remove account" in the bottom right corner and the characters will probably be deleted as well.
