How to DELETE GROUPME account?

how to delete GroupMe accounts so here I just found this uh support article on Microsoft website because GroupMe is owned by Microsoft so yeah you can just tap more menu tap edit profile scroll down and tap the delete GroupMe account link on the confirmation screen so I continue you might be asked to enter a password first delete your GroupMe account if you don't own any groups then just a final confirmation is and then uh you select delete if you owner of the group you need first to transfer the owners of the to another owner on the next screen and then yeah you just need to do it for every group unfortunately I choose so first just delete this transfer owner for every group and then uh you enter your password to confirm that you want to delete your account and select continue and then select delete so that's basically how you delete your account if you own some groups um so yeah you can just delete also on Android here is some screenshot for you if you want to delete on Android and also you can delete it on Windows as well just yeah from your windows account however the app was updated and yet to be honest guys in updated app seems it's a bit different because I can't see this more icon um so yeah uh I can obviously okay so then instead of that you just tap on delete your account and then you just tap delete GroupMe account in the bottom so that's uh just tap on your profile picture scroll to the bottom and then you can just Tab delete GroupMe account
