How to hide a chat in Character.ai app?

If you're someone who regularly uses the Character.ai app for messaging, there may come a time when you want to hide a conversation or message thread. Perhaps you have a sensitive conversation that you don't want others to see, or maybe you just want to clean up your messages. Whatever the reason, hiding a chat in Character.ai is simple and quick.

To begin, just tap and hold on any message within the conversation that you want to hide. After a few seconds, a menu will appear with various options. Look for the "Hide Character" option and tap it.

Once you've tapped "Hide Character," the conversation will disappear from your main chat list. However, you can still access it if you need it. All you have to do is go to the search bar and type in the name of the person you were talking to or look for the conversation within the archived section of your chat list.

If you want to remove the conversation entirely, you can do that too. Simply go to the bot and tap the three dots on the top right corner. From there, you can select "Remove Messages" and the conversation will be permanently deleted.
