OpenAI - Rate limits or too many requests Error - what you can do?

hey everybody so here is some research about GPT a lot of users see this are right limits and for 2029 too many requests errors um so if issue still persists for any of the tax code image and points fill out the right limit increase request form if your request is granted you'll aim to fulfill the request in 710 business days so here you can see what our rate limits uh so what are the right limits from uh for our API rate limits are measured in two ways RPM request for minutes and TPM tokens per minute the table below highlights the default rate limits for iapi tokens per minute unit is different depending on the model so one TPM in like DaVinci means one target per minute in accurate 25 token equals like 25 so in other you can get like 200 tokens per minute uh uh in Practical terms this means that you can send approximately two 200 times more tokens per minute to another model versus DaVinci and free trial users can send 20 RPM and 150 000 TPM in text and then codex added images or 50 images per minute by as you go user 60 RPM to 150 000. uh and bicycle users so you can see all the rights here and then sometimes of course you can hit too many requests um so yeah you can just you can just read um the more uh documentation here so other than that you can always reach out and just fill out the open eye red limiting question increase request uh we will not be able to increase right limits for child GPT at this time uh if you still encounter right limits are fill out the form and we will evaluate the request uh if you are able to increase your rate limit you will respond to 7-10 days so there you have it um something like that
