Substack NOTES - full guide

Are you tired of the never-ending noise and negativity on Twitter? Check out Substack Nodes, an alternative platform for personal and professional communication. In this guide, we'll walk you through the basics of getting started with Substack Nodes.

First things first, make sure your Substack app is updated. You should see a new tab located second from the left labeled "Substack Nodes". Once you click on this tab, you'll be directed to the Node home feed. The home feed works similarly to your Twitter feed, but it's generated by Substack. You can subscribe to people's nodes here, and they will also receive your email newsletter if you have one.

When you subscribe to someone's node, you're also subscribing to their email newsletter. This means that you'll receive every new newsletter edition sent by that person. Keep in mind though that subscribing to a node does not subscribe you to every email they have. Only the newsletters they send are included.

To create your own node, tap the plus button located in the top right corner of the page. You can add an image or photo to your node to make it more engaging. This is where you can share content, thoughts, and ideas with your subscribers. Speaking of subscribers, you can view your own list of subscribers by clicking on the "Subscribers" tab located on the left.

In conclusion, Substack Nodes offers a refreshing change from the chaos of Twitter. You can subscribe to people's nodes, as well as create your own to engage with your subscribers. Remember that subscribing to a node also means subscribing to their newsletter, so be mindful of who you follow. Happy communicating!
