Twitter verified profile - how to check if it is Twitter Blue or notable person?

so here's an example of of a yeah some verified accounts on Twitter so uh this is a new blue uh verified account so if you tap on this check mark you can see this this account is verified because it's subscribed to Twitter blue so this is a new feature we started to be available uh yeah as just like of November 9th um now the blue check mark might mean two different scenes either an account was verified on the previous verification criteria or that the account has an active subscription to Twitter blue Subscription Service which was made available on iOS in U.S Canada Australia New Zealand and UK on November 1922 accounts that received the blue check mark as part of Twitter blue subscription will not undergo review to confirm that they meet the active notable authentic a critter that was used in the previous process so that's interesting uh please note that to minimize impersonation risk display name changes will be temporarily restricted on verified accounts this will impact accounts verified under the Legacy program tutor's new teacher blue subscription uh so so there you have it uh you can see Twitter blue subscribers blue check marks might be taken away at any time for any reason at all by twittering as a result of certain types um so yeah that's basically that there was also some official uh libel uh uh but it was taken away so yeah um hope that is helpful
