Quick guide to wrapping text around an image in Google Docs

If you try and insert an image in text in Google Docs and see what happens – I will just put cursor where I want my image to appear and will insert some image – the text is not wrapped…

So, in order to wrap text around an image you just need to right click on the image and you will have an option to Wrap Text.

Then you can select the margin.

These are possible margins you can select in Google Docs – from 0′ to 1′.

0′ margin
1/16′
1/8
1/4
3/8
1/2
3/4
1′

After that you can move image around and the wrap will will remain.

This is how you wrap text around an image in Google Docs. If you want to wrap text around image in Google slides – unfortunately as I understand it’s not possible at the moment, so you will need to play around with images and it’s a big pain for a lot of Google slides users.

Hopefully Google slides will add this feature and it will be as easy as it is in Google Docs!

Hope that helps!
