EDITING MESSAGES in WHATSAPP - QUICK GUIDE

WhatsApp, one of the most popular messaging apps in the world, has finally added a feature that many users have been eagerly awaiting - the ability to edit messages. In this quick guide, we will show you how to use this new feature.

To start editing your message, simply tap and hold on the message you want to edit. Just below the "copy" text, you should see the "edit" button. It will be located between the "copy" and "info" tabs. Tap on the "edit" button and voila! You can now begin editing your message.

Once you have finished editing your message, it will show up as "edited". However, do note that you only have 15 minutes to make these edits. After the 15-minute window has passed, this feature is no longer available for that particular message. This time frame is similar to the editing feature on iMessage.

It is worth noting that this feature may not be available to everyone just yet. As of now, WhatsApp is likely still rolling out this new feature. So, it may not be available for all users or in all countries. If you have not yet updated WhatsApp, you may not have this feature just yet.

It is always exciting to see new features being added to our favorite apps. The ability to edit messages on WhatsApp will certainly come in handy for those who have ever sent a message with an embarrassing typo or mistake. Give it a try and see how this feature works for you.

In summary, to edit a message on WhatsApp, follow these simple steps:

  1. Tap and hold on the message you want to edit.
  2. Click the "edit" button located between the "copy" and "info" tabs.
  3. Edit your message.
  4. The message will be marked as "edited" and you have 15 minutes to make the changes.
