How to do BTS on BeReal app?

Here is a quick guide on how to do BTS on the B-Real app. To begin, open up your B-Real app and look for the "BTS on" option at the top. BTS stands for "behind the scenes" and is a new video feature on B-Real that has recently been released. Currently, it is only available for users in the United States, but it will likely be rolled out to more users soon.

Using BTS on B-Real is incredibly easy. When you take a B-Real, the app automatically records the five seconds before the photo is captured. Let's take a closer look at how it works. Simply move your phone around, then take a B-Real. You will notice that the moments before the B-Real is taken are also recorded. It's a great way to provide a glimpse into what led up to the photo.

Once you have taken a BTS-enabled B-Real, you will see a "BTS on" tag at the top of the B-Real. Additionally, when browsing B-Reals from your friends, you will see a BTS tag in the top right corner. This indicates that they have used the BTS feature as well.

If you tap and hold on a BTS-enabled B-Real, you will find that it captures the video element before the photo was taken. This includes both the video and audio. To make use of this feature, you will need to grant the B-Real app access to your microphone.

If you decide that you do not like the BTS feature or simply forgot to enable it, you can easily disable it. Just tap the "BTS on" tag to disable it. However, if you choose to keep it enabled, you can still customize your B-Real by attaching music or making other adjustments before posting it.

Once you have posted your BTS-enabled B-Real, you will see the "BTS" tag in the top right corner. You also have the option to remove the BTS tag even after posting, delete your B-Real entirely, or save the BTS video to your device's photos.

It's worth noting that other users who have BTS enabled will also have their BTS videos accessible to you. To view their BTS videos, simply tap and hold on their B-Real.

While the example shown demonstrates a basic use of the BTS feature, many users have taken it to a whole new level on platforms like TikTok. People have created incredible BTS videos of activities like snowboarding or jumping, adding a unique and visually pleasing effect to their B-Reals. I appreciate that B-Real has not simply released vertical videos in an attempt to compete with TikTok, but has instead introduced this distinctive feature.

If you are not a fan of the BTS feature or have concerns about privacy, you can easily disable it. Once disabled, BTS will be turned off by default for all your future B-Reals.

Make sure to update your B-Real app to see if you have access to this exciting new feature. Give it a try and see how BTS can enhance your B-Reals.
