How to EDIT SHORTCUTS on SNAPCHAT? It’s tricky!

Snapchat is one of the most popular social media apps out there, and if you're an avid user, you might want to adjust and customize certain things, like your shortcuts. In this article, we will show you how to edit shortcuts on Snapchat.

Shortcuts, as their name suggests, are quick links to specific chats or conversations in your Snapchat account. They appear when you swipe down your chat or messages, and can be accessed by tapping the shortcuts icon in the top right corner. By default, there are two shortcuts: one for unread messages and another for your best friends, if you are on Snapchat Plus.

If you want to add a new shortcut, follow these steps. Type the name of a friend in the search bar and click on the chat icon to link to that friend. Once the chat is open, click the gear icon in the top right corner to access the settings menu. From there, you can add an emoji of your choice to create a new shortcut.

Now that you've added a new shortcut, let's say you want to edit it. Tap on the plus icon, and you will see a list of your shortcuts. Tap on the one you want to edit, and you can remove the shortcut by clicking on the 'X' icon.

It's important to note that you can only edit shortcuts that you have created yourself. You can't edit the default shortcuts for unread messages or best friends.

Editing your Snapchat shortcuts isn't a difficult process, but it can be a bit tricky to get the hang of at first. By following the steps we've outlined, you should be able to customize your shortcuts to your liking.
