How to EDIT SHORTCUTS on SNAPCHAT? It’s tricky!

Snapchat has been quite popular with the younger generation for quite some time now. The ease with which you can send pictures and short videos to your friends is unmatched. However, not everyone is aware of editing their shortcuts on Snapchat.

Shortcuts on Snapchat are the names given to the contacts with whom you communicate most frequently. By default, Snapchat sets two shortcuts, one for the unread messages and another for the best friends. But, with the Snapchat Plus subscription, you can add another shortcut.

Editing shortcuts can be a bit tricky, but with the right guidance, you can get it done in a jiffy. In this article, we'll go through the step-by-step process of editing shortcuts on Snapchat.

• First, launch Snapchat on your smartphone and swipe down to see your recent message and your two default shortcuts.

• In the top right corner, you will see two shortcuts, where you have to add a new shortcut.

• Tap on the plus icon to the right, which will take you to your contact list.

• Select the person you want to add as a new shortcut by tapping on their name.

• You can also set a custom emoji for that contact to recognize the shortcut more easily.

• Once that is done, your new shortcut will appear at the top of your shortcuts list.

Editing shortcuts from here on is quite simple.

• Tap on the plus icon again and select the shortcut you want to edit.

• To remove the selected shortcut, tap on the cross icon on the top left corner of the shortcut.

• Once you have removed it, the shortcut will disappear, and your contact will move down the list.

Please keep in mind that you can only edit shortcuts that you have added, and the two default shortcuts (unread messages and best friends) cannot be edited or deleted.

Now that you understand the process of editing shortcuts on Snapchat, you can make your Snapchat experience even more personalized and convenient.
