How to EDIT SHORTCUTS on SNAPCHAT? It’s tricky!

Snapchat has become one of the most popular social media apps among millennials. A great feature of it is the ability to create shortcuts. Shortcuts enable users to quickly access chats and messages from their friends and even use their own custom emoji. However, editing shortcuts can be a bit tricky. In this article, we’ll discuss how to edit shortcuts on Snapchat.

Shortcuts appear as soon as you swipe down on your messages. By default, there are two shortcuts that appear- unread messages and best friends (if you are on Snapchat Plus). In order to add another shortcut, you can mark it with your own emoji.

To begin, let's add a new shortcut. Just type in the name of your friend and add your desired emoji. That's it! You have created a new shortcut. Now, when you tap on this shortcut, you will be redirected to your friend's chat.

Now, let’s talk about how to edit shortcuts. To do so, tap on the plus icon that you see to the top right of your screen. Here, all the current shortcuts will appear, and by tapping on the shortcut you can remove it. That's how easy it is!

It is important to note that, even though you can easily edit the shortcuts you have created, you can only do so for those shortcuts. By default, you cannot edit the “unread” shortcuts or the best friends shortcuts because they are already set by Snapchat.

With these simple steps, you can easily edit or remove shortcuts on Snapchat. This feature can be super useful when you have too many friends on Snapchat and want to access your frequently messaged friends quickly. Make sure you stay up to date with Snapchat’s latest features and enjoy a seamless social media experience.
