LOCKET WIDGET app GOING VIRAL - bugs, safety issues - what you need to know?

Hello there. Welcome to another episode of Mr. Hacker podcast. Today, we're going to talk about viral app just in the top charts right now in the us app store. And this app is called locket featured app. Um, so yeah, I've, I've installed this app a few days ago when it was like, you know, it ends up a hundred apps in gas app stores suddenly. I didn't know what that. And then I just installed it, make a few YouTube videos about it, but now it's just going viral. Um, so what the idea is about, so basically it's like a widget. So, you know, from starting from ISR team, I think you can add the switches to. And this is just a region of, uh, for those from your friends. So basically you just add a widget to your home screen and then your friends can add their photos, sent a lock it to you and you will see their photo. Or you can send your face to like, or some other pictures to your friends and then they will see updated feed of your photos on their home. So it's nice app, you know, just like to keep in touch with your close ones or your friends. So you just open your phone and you have a picture from your friend popping up. And when you have some picture from your family, Uh, which they applaud. So it's, it's different from using like the normal photos app or like Google photos, speeches and all of that, because like, you don't know which pictures you will be there. Uh, yeah. So your friends are adding that. So right now this app is in the top charts in social network, in category, in your ass, which is wild. Uh, it's, it's a it's about Facebook messenger, Dick talk, or. Because as soon as the concept is really nice, um, and this app is only available on the, on the iPhone iOS. It's not available on Android, I just checked. It's not there. Um, so I think this app was developed by my tumors. Uh, I think truly I might in job. Uh, um, and as I'm just looking at the app stores, this is his only app. Um, so once again, like, uh, located widget helps to add your friends to homescreen sand peaks, to a friend's home screens, senior pictures without the day that the widget. And then you can just open the camera and take a photo. And this photo instantly appears on your friend's home screen. Um, Well, I get to be like, it is a widget that shows, uh, you alive pictures from your friends, right on your home screen. It's like a portal to the people do care about a little glimpse at what they're up to sort the day. Here's how it works. When a friend sends you a peek, it instantly appears in your locker to Bridget on your home screen to send the response, stamp the widget, take a peak and send it to your friend's home. It feels like magic. When you lock it updates with something new, as you use locker to also build up a history of features. We have sent your friends scroll down and the work of app to travel back in time and explore the history. Um, Lock it is just for your closest friends is perfect for best friends, girlfriends, boyfriends, and families. We can only add up five friends on the app. You can reach out to him at look at camera at this calm, uh, and that's about it. So the app is very minimalistic or. And the advanced features. Um, it just does what it says it can do, but still there are a lot of box here. And therefore at the moment, the average reviews on the, on the app store are just three points, three out of five. Uh, so one of the issue was you couldn't be able to create an account. So I tried to do that few days ago, I couldn't create an account and it just came in error. And then it's just great that the video, like thousands of people watched it, I have the same issue because the app started to become really viral. Um, by the way, to create an account, you just need to add your phone number and then it will just, uh, um, send you some verification tax and you are in, but some pictures that have issues with, uh, with the father of the app applaud into, to the home screen of their friends. Um, Uh, Dan. Yeah, there are some few other box, uh, um, but, uh, the only scene, so I'm just really here, some reviews. Uh, the only thing I would like is the widgets would automatically update to the picture that, that other person just to consider having to open the app to refresh it. So is there are some issues with refreshing, but overall people really liked this, that a lot. Uh, and as a review is super cool, but I wish you could send separate pictures to people. Why it is now, everyone you have added gets the same picture. It would be a batter. We separate, we just for different people or an option where you can pick who you will send us a picture to. Um, Uh, on the scene I would change is the fact that Eric father, you take girls to all your friends. While some photos I would like to only send to my girlfriend, other everyone to everyone to see, but we don't have that option yet. Uh, so however, I still are seeing what my friends are seeing. Uh, So that's the, the major review, uh, it says also had some trouble setting up, but now it's working virus, mostly, uh, some people are requesting so we can leave. Small drawings are not similar to Snapchat and stories. You are. Uh, I love this app. I love being able to surprise my girlfriend on headphones is episode  couples France needed. Does that be semis and engineers? I would recommend for your besties. It's so cool to send people pictures and they'll just automatically. Uh, how are I cannot add any specific people from my friends. They gave me a list of choices, but you can pick anyone that I don't happen to choices. Um, so super fun. Uh, so here you just have. All this nice reviews I'm in default send that idea is just genius, but probably there is some technical work required to make all of this happen. Um, uh, yeah, so that's, that's that, um, there are a bunch of websites which are at the feet up on this. So that's about it. I'm actually surprised that, uh, Google photos are iCloud photos. Don't have this feature because it's just like, you know, nice little. Uh, feature or just, it does seem to be truly my X products, much more, uh, short social, and much more fun because you just, you know, if you, if you use Facebook or something, of course you can see pictures from your friends or some, but it's here. You just have the DJ and you don't need to go to any other app. And the things this app combines, this widget technology just appeared on the. On the new iOS starting from ISR and now, uh, uh, yeah, so that's, that's basically that, uh, um, so that's the app. Uh, I'm just trying, uh, to get more ideas. Uh, who is my T Ross also, uh, also this app went viral on Tik TOK. So I think that's the, uh, that's one of the reasons why it's become really popular because it has this  factor on the tick tock. Uh, you can also follow it on. I think it's a brilliant marketing strategy because that's where all the attention is right now. So yeah, it got a lot of views, uh, on tick-tock people started to search for it. It just exploded in downloads. And now it's in top charts about messenger, about tick-tock itself on the app store. Uh, so interesting app. Definitely give it a try. So just again, search, look at Bridget on the, on. Uh, it's not available on Android. Uh, yup. Uh, so that's, that's my overview here. Yeah. The one issue is that, uh, Is that there are some steel technical box there, um, and that there is some strength in Reddit, uh, in subreddit privacy that, uh, Too long didn't read in the strategy, says any peak sensor, the ad belongs to the company and it can be used as they want.
