Real People on BeReal - What is it? Overview

If you're an avid BeReal user, you might have noticed a new tab recently - The Real People. But what does it mean? As a new experimental feature, this tab is currently only available in limited countries including the United Kingdom.

Real People is an exciting feature allowing users to view prominent figures, influencers, athletes, or celebrities showcasing their everyday life on the platform. Even if you don't have any friends on BeReal, you can tap on the Real People tab, you will get to see some famous figures giving you a glimpse of their life.

For instance, here you might see some soccer players, football players, ballet dancers, and other stars staying in hotels, performing their daily tasks, or showing their normal life. This is a unique aspect of BeReal that allows prominent athletes and celebrities to showcase their real everyday life to their followers and fans.

This feature is different from Instagram or other social media platforms where celebrities and athletes tend to flaunt their glamorous lives through photos and videos. BeReal's Real People feature displays an alternative side to these individuals- a more authentic and natural side to life.

All a user has to do is to tap on the Real People button, and they can access any account they're interested in. However, the feature is still experimental and not yet available worldwide. If you don't see the Real People tab, it probably hasn't launched yet in your country.

Apart from this new feature, BeReal is exploring other options to upgrade the app and enhance users' experiences. With the addition of Real People, the app continues to stand out, offering a unique social media experience.
