X/Twitter Ads Revenue Sharing programme now available for creators globally

Twitter's ads revenue sharing program, now known as X, is opening up to eligible creators around the world. This new opportunity, as described by Elon Musk in a recent post, aims to distribute a total of five million dollars in the first round of creator payments, cumulatively collected from February onwards. Already, several creators have reported receiving substantial amounts of money from the program.

To be eligible for this program, there are a few requirements that creators must meet. Firstly, they need to be subscribed to the blue or verified organization. Additionally, they should have accumulated at least 15 million impressions on their tweets or posts within the last three months. While this may seem like a considerable number, it is certainly achievable for active and engaged users. Furthermore, the creators must have a minimum of 500 followers. Finally, a Stripe account is also necessary to apply for the program through the monetization tab.

Once a creator meets these requirements and is accepted into the program, they have the opportunity to earn revenue from the ads that appear in their replies. If their replies generate significant traction, they stand to receive a substantial payout. However, it is important to note that earning a substantial revenue requires a significant number of impressions.

Twitter's X ads revenue sharing program provides a great opportunity for creators to monetize their content and capitalize on their engaged communities. As the program expands to include creators from around the world, it will be intriguing to see the impact it has on the social media landscape.
