What are Smart Downloads in Netflix app?

hey so what are smart downloads on netflix so if you go to downloads tab on netflix ios app you will see this toggle smart downloads what's that um so if you just tap on info icon you will see that the smart downloads gets the next episodes downloaded for you and deletes those you have already watched only on wi-fi so you finish watching episodes you download it the next time you're on wi-fi that automatically deletes once the download completes you're ready to watch and smart downloads deletes an episode 5 repository downloads it won't take up extra space it doesn't use a cellular data and then you can just turn it on or turn it off
